Blackhawk

From Walsenburg go south on the I-25 to exit 42 - Rouse Road. Turn west and then immediately south. The road will turn west again and cross the railroad tracks. Go through the town of Pryor and stay straight ahead past the entry feature at Blackhawk Ranch approximately one-half mile to parking lot.

Black Mountain

From Gardner, go 1 mile west on Hwy. 69, turn north on USFS Rd.634 and go 6 miles to USFS Rd. 635 (Black Mountain Road), go west 1/2 mile to access markers.

Little Sheep Mountain

From Gardner, go southwest on Cty. Rd. 560 (Arco Road), 7 miles to property

WILDLIFE: Deer, bear, elk, rabbits, doves, band-tailed pigeons, turkeys
ACCESS: Cty. Rd. 560 traverses tract from northwest corner to south side. No vehicles allowed off county road.

Schultz Canyon

From Walsenburg take Cty. Rd. 330 (Ideal Road) south for 11 miles.
ACRES: 960
OPEN: Sept. 1 - May 31
WILDLIFE: Deer, bear, mountain lion, rabbits, doves, band-tailed pigeons, turkeys
ACCESS: Cty. Rd. 330 traverses northeast quarter of Section 31 and south half of Section 36. Cty. Rd. 310 enters northeast quarter of Section 31 on east side. No vehicles allowed off county road.

From Gardner take Hwy. 69 7 miles west to property

South Middle Creek

From La Veta go 1/2 mile south on Hwy. 12 to Indian Creek Road (USFS Rd. 410), then go west 11 miles.

WILDLIFE: Deer, elk, bear, mountain lion, turkeys, blue grouse
ACCESS: USFS Rd. 410 enters property on south side near southwest corner. No vehicles allowed off roads. Foot or horseback only. Timber activity may be present.

From Gardner go west on Hwy. 69 for 1 mile to national forest access road 634. Turn north on FS Rd. 634 and travel 13 miles to the property.

Guillermo Ranch

From Walsenburg travel 15 miles northwest on Hwy. 69 to Badito Junction. From Badito Junction take Cty. Rd. 520 south for 6 miles to Majors Ranch entrance. Then travel west 1-1/4 miles on Cty. Rd. 520.1 to southeast corner of property.
ACRES: 2,118
OPEN: Sept. 1 - Feb. 28
WILDLIFE: Antelope, dove, rabbit, coyote
ACCESS: Cty. Rd. 520.1 enters property on SE corner, then traverses property for 3 miles to west boundary.

Huerfano

From Gardner go 13 miles west on Cty. Rd. 580
ACRES: 544
WILDLIFE: Rabbits, deer, doves, elk
FISHING in coldwater stream
FACILITIES: Rest rooms, picnic tables

This is a beautiful area in the aspens with the Huerfano River flowing through the middle. Access is pretty good, the fishing looks excellent.

From La Veta go 1 mile east on Bear Creek Road (Cty Rd 358) to property
ACRES: 203
FISHING: Coldwater lake - artificial flies or lures only!
ACCESS: No camping, no fires, no ice fishing, only boats propelled by hand or by wind
FACILITIES: Rest room, parking area
